Job summary

Sanbell in Elko, NV is seeking a Geotechnical Field Inspector to perform field testing, sampling, and laboratory testing on Nevada projects. You will prepare daily reports, logs, and photos while ensuring accurate documentation for engineers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities include performing tests on earthwork, backfill, roadways, and structures, and coordinating with project teams. Requirements include a high school diploma, the ability to read plans, and a valid driver’s license;

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to read plans, follow procedures, and prepare clear records.
• Must be able to work independently in field settings and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspection for earthwork, backfill, roadways, foundations, concrete, asphalt, and related activities.
• Collect, transport, log, and test soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt samples per procedures.
• Conduct lab testing per ASTM/NAQTC/ACI methods and record results accurately.
