Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This includes performing and leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and preparing related reports. Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track project progress and budgets, and recommend changes. Research design and construction issues. Evaluate laboratory or field data for reports. Communicate engineering issues clearly to clients and project teams. Services may be provided for projects in public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors.
