Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering, or related degree
• At least a 3.0 GPA
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Pursuing an MS degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
• Previous internship in geotechnical evaluations soil and rock classification, design analysis of foundation and ground retention systems
• Knowledge of Ensoft LPile, Group GeoStudio Slope and Sigma, GRLWeap, Civiltech Shoring Suite, Bentley gINT, Bentley MicroStation, and AutoCAD
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering design and analysis of foundation systems, retaining structures and slopes for transportation infrastructure projects
• Inspect geotechnical exploratory and construction related activities
• Develop and oversee subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs
• Progress from basic design tasks to more complex projects in collaboration with a technical team
• Deliver high-quality work with strong time management and client-focused outcomes
