Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking a Geotechnical Intern to assist our geotechnical team across multiple sites in the United States. The intern will perform field testing, sampling, and laboratory work under supervision, contributing to inspection reports and data documentation.

The role targets students pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (EIT preferred) with 0–2 years in geotechnical contexts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic soil mechanics and introductory geotechnical science topics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field testing, inspection, and sampling at construction sites.
• Perform soil laboratory tests and prepare inspection and data reports.
• Witness and document borings or test pits as part of geotechnical investigations.
• Deliver samples and testing equipment between sites, office and laboratory.
