Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our National Water Management Team and Water South team. You’ll work on projects from concept through construction, addressing levees, dams, floodwalls, and other hydraulic structures, while expanding leadership and client-facing skills.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform geotechnical analyses, coordinate field investigations, and deliver designs that improve flood risk reduction and waterfront infrastructure resilience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of geotechnical experience.
• EIT/PE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical recommendations for designs and reports.
• Collaborate with Water Management team to deliver innovative designs.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and grow technical leadership capabilities.
• Plan field investigations and coordinate lab testing programs.
• Travel to project sites for meetings and inspections as needed.
