Olsson is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in San Francisco, CA, to join our Rail Construction and Administration Management team. You will bridge soils at client sites and structures, performing geotechnical design, project proposals, and management duties with integrity and a drive to succeed.

Ideal candidates bring a Civil or Geotechnical engineering background, a PE, 4+ years of related experience, and willingness to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 4+ years of related geotechnical analysis and design experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical design, project proposals, and management duties with integrity.
• Process design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules.
• Travel to job sites for observation and data collection.
• Provide constructible designs and meet deadlines, with clear communications to clients.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
