Anchor Point Construction Group, a veteran-owned foundation and geotechnical specialist, seeks a licensed Civil/Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to lead design-build from concept through execution in the New York City metropolitan area. Hybrid work model with on-site, office, and remote elements.

Responsibilities include geotechnical/foundation design, site investigations, data interpretation, and producing reports and calculations. Collaboration across project teams and stamping submittals are key.

Qualifikationen

• PE license in Civil or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; advanced degree beneficial.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and foundation design.
• Experience with site investigations and interpretation of lab/field data.
• Experience with design codes (IBC, ACI, AISC, NYC codes).
• Familiar with CAD tools and geotechnical design software.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and clients.
• Review and stamp designs and submittals.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and project specifications.
• Support design proofs, testing programs, and QA/QC.
• Monitor construction activities to verify engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to safety and quality improvements on site.
