Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer at all levels for an on-site, permanent position in Elko, NV. The role focuses on mining and geotechnical services, including field investigations, data analysis, and reporting on large-scale projects.
The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical/geological engineering and have experience with slope stability, seepage or settlement analyses, and familiarity with modeling tools. PE/EI certifications are valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or geological engineering.
- Experience with geotechnical field investigations and site characterization.
- Knowledge of soil and rock laboratory testing methods.
- Experience with geotechnical analysis including slope stability, seepage, or settlement.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D, GeoStudio, Rocscience, or related geotechnical modeling tools.
- Strong technical writing and engineering report preparation skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineering Intern (EI/EIT) certification.
