Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves preparing engineering plans, performing basic analyses, and supporting AutoCAD and Civil 3D tasks with supervision from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 1–5 years of geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Internship or co-op in civil engineering is a plus.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations under senior engineers.
• Support design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients.
