Job summary

Sage Geotechnical in Tumwater, WA, is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to support field explorations, assist with engineering analyses, and document activities. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and an EIT certificate (in progress is acceptable). Expected pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, along with benefits that include medical insurance and a retirement plan. This position provides hands-on experience under the guidance of skilled engineers in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in progress.
• EIT certificate obtained or in progress.
• Valid driver's license and insurable record for travel.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers with design work and technical reports.
• Assist with soil sampling and site observations.
• Document construction activities and test results.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Basic knowledge of GIS mapping

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
