WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Geotechnical Engineer for our Wexford, PA office. You will join the Earth & Environment Team on geotechnical and geological projects in oil & gas, transportation, mining, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 0 to 1 year of post-education experience or internship welcomed.
• Solid analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with design/build concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams on geotechnical and geological projects including field observations and data evaluation.
• Conduct field assignments such as site mapping, borehole logging, and site reconnaissance.
• Perform engineering analyses, designs, and recommendations under supervision.
• Assist in preparing reports, borehole logs, cross-sections, and cost estimates.
• Prepare construction documents and assist with safety compliance and QA monitoring.
• Travel to project sites as needed; communicate findings clearly to the team.
