Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking a senior structural engineer to prepare analyses, designs, and specifications for in-house and Design-Bid-Build/Build projects. You will design using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry, and support environmental and blast-load analyses.

Candidates should have ABET-accredited degrees with structural emphasis and experience on DoD/Navy criteria, IBC, and ASCE 7, plus strong communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Five years of structural engineering experience after degree
• 2nd item ignored to keep concise
• Five years of code-compliant facilities design experience for new construction
• At least one year on Capital Improvement projects for a Federal agency
• Experience with concrete/steel/timber/masonry structures
• Knowledge of DoD/Navy criteria and IBC/ASCE 7
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural analyses, designs, AutoCAD plans, specs and cost estimates for in-house and bid projects
• Analyze vertical and lateral force-resisting systems and foundations
• Perform design using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
• Support environmental and blast-load analyses as required
• Evaluate structural systems and materials for project requirements
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
