Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest in Silverdale, WA. The engineer will provide office and field technical support for Navy design and construction projects throughout NAVFAC Northwest's area of responsibility.

You will review reports, designs, RFIs, and submittals, coordinate with NAVFAC personnel and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with DoD UFC, IBC and ASCE 7.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of Design Management and/or Design experience performing applicable engineering tasks.
• Demonstrated geotechnical engineering experience supporting design and construction projects.
• Experience supporting building, retaining, utility, and/or waterfront structures.
• Knowledge of applicable DoD UFC and industry codes and standards, including IBC and ASCE 7.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to successfully complete required background and security screening.
• Four-year degree from an accredited Engineering college curriculum required.
• Minimum of six (6) years of applicable Design Management and/or Design experience required.

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC Northwest), Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division (PDC4) in Silverdale, WA.

The Geotechnical Engineer will provide office and field technical support for Navy design and construction projects throughout the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility.
