General Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and consulting services for various projects and clients, including field investigations, analysis, design, and report writing.
• Review drawings and construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and track project progress and budgets.
• Research and resolve design and construction issues.
• Analyze data, perform calculations, and communicate complex engineering concepts effectively.
• Services may involve public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, or industrial sectors.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Manage and execute small projects of minimal complexity.
• Assist in developing scope, estimates, and specifications.
• Conduct field investigations and laboratory testing.
• Develop project plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with senior project managers and professional engineers.
• Make design recommendations and modifications.
• Prepare work scopes, proposals, reports, and plan investigations.
• Supervise field staff as needed.
• Communicate with clients and project teams regarding project scope and progress.
• Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering (EI) certification.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
