Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Geotechnical Engineer in Pleasanton, CA to perform site investigations, analyze subsurface conditions, and advise on foundations, slope stability, and earthworks. You will prepare technical reports, collaborate with civil/structural teams, and oversee field observations while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a CA PE, 5+ years in geotechnical engineering, and proficiency with PLAXIS/GeoStudio/gINT.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required; MS in Geotechnical preferred.
• Licensed PE in California required.
• 5+ years geotechnical experience (consulting or construction-related preferred).
• Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio, gINT) a plus.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling, logging, and laboratory testing.
