Job summary

CCI Group of Companies is seeking a Geotechnical Driller to lead Progress Drilling USA crews and work closely with the Geotechnical Operations Manager and Drilling Lead to plan, manage, and support field activity for geotechnical drilling projects.

The role requires managing crews, ensuring safety and process adherence, tracking inventory and costs, and coordinating with project teams to deliver all required documents and deliverables. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• 5+ years experience around drilling and heavy equipment
• 2+ years experience in leadership roles supervising others
• Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state, with overnight stays as required
• CDL A license is an asset
• Experience leading drilling crews and managing costs is required
• DOT and IFTA regulations familiarity
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Lead Progress Drilling USA crew and coordinate with Geotechnical Operations Manager and Drilling Lead
• Manage crew, ensure safety, procedures, and production targets are met
• Track inventory, tooling, and operating costs per internal budgets
• Coordinate with project teams to deliver all deliverables and documentation
• Support business development through client relationship maintenance
