Job summary

S&M E is hiring Driller and Driller Assistant roles across our field exploration teams, with opportunities to work outdoors on geotechnical projects. Role includes collecting soil and rock samples, operating drilling equipment, and supporting safety‑driven field operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 years of drilling experience, a CDL for drillers, and HAZWOPER readiness or ability to obtain. Travel and year‑round field work are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist drilling operations for soil and rock samples using various techniques and equipment
• Setup, operate, and maintain drilling rigs and machinery

• Follow safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team to meet project goals and deadlines
