Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber unit seeks an experienced drill operator to perform geotechnical/environmental drilling across projects. Traveling to job sites, you will operate multiple drilling rigs, read diagrams, and ensure safety and quality in line with project specs.

Requirements include a high school diploma, five+ years in heavy highway/construction drilling, and strong math and English communication. OSHA rules and physical demands apply in all assignments.

Qualifications

• Observe all OSHA regulations.
• Willing and able to travel out-of-town/state as needed.
• Communicate in English via verbal and written means.
• Mathematical proficiency for geometry, algebra and maths.
• Heavy physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling equipment including truck, track and ATV mount drills.
• Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling with HSA, air and mud rotary, and direct push equipment.
• Signal and direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Read diagrams and drill holes at specified locations and depths.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety policies.
