Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. in Houston seeks a Director of Geotechnical Engineering for the Mega Projects Team. This role leads a senior geotechnical group supporting oil & gas, space, and heavy industrial ventures, reporting to Global Engineering leadership. Strong leadership, communication, and a PE license are essential.

You will guide strategic expansion, mentor junior staff, and oversee multiple mega projects while collaborating with senior leadership on new ventures and investments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of oil & gas / mega-structure geotechnical experience at a Top ENR company.
• 10+ years in a supervisory role with direct reports.
• Active PE license and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for mega projects and team performance.
• Prepare technical proposals with oversight minimal supervision.
• Execute highly technical geotechnical engineering assignments.
• Lead a team of geotechnical engineers and coordinate field and laboratory work.
• Perform engineering analyses and report preparation; ensure client satisfaction and project quality.
