Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a geotechnical engineer to join our BV Operations team in a full-time hybrid role. You will develop design materials, perform calculations, and oversee field investigations across diverse infrastructure projects, traveling as needed.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of related experience, and a PE license is preferred. We offer ESOP ownership and flexible work arrangements to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Active PE License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal teams and resources to understand client needs.
• Develop geotechnical design materials and reports for projects (power facilities, substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, water, pipelines).
• Plan, design, and oversee geotechnical aspects in office and field.
• Travel for field assignments up to 20–40% as required.
