Qualifications

  • 1+ year in the engineering of dams, levees, and flood control structures.
  • Strong communication skills—written and oral.
  • Ability to collect, correlate, and analyze data and support design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations under supervision of a Professional Engineer to support water resources design projects.
  • Collect, correlate, and analyze data for project decisions.
  • Document project decisions and results.
  • Coordinate project efforts with engineers, technicians, and drafting personnel.
  • Learn accepted design criteria and methodologies.
  • Perform construction field visits as needed by project assignment.
