Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related.
• Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform field related services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various field and laboratory tests.
• Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Maintain client communications and build client relations.
• Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review.
• Observe construction in progress and report to project or senior engineer.
• Gain experience toward Professional Engineer licensure.
