Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Geotechnical/Civil Engineer in Salt Lake City to design, develop and evaluate civil and geotechnical systems. The role supports planning, permitting, construction and maintenance of utility facilities, with opportunities at multiple levels matched to education and experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, guiding junior staff, maintaining schedules and budgets, and delivering QA/QC on projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of geotechnical practices and quality control processes.
• Experience with project management and coordination with vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify and evaluate systems to support company objectives.
• Develop geotechnical/civil studies, plans, calculations and designs.
• Guide associate engineers and technicians.
• Maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Provide QA/QC support for projects.
