Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; BS preferred in engineering-related fields.
Training or certification in AutoCAD preferred.
Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Dependable, self‑motivated, responsible work ethic.
Basic computer proficiency; developing AutoCAD proficiency.
Ability to interpret technical data with guidance.
Ability to work well in teams and independently.
Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist with drafting and design support for geotechnical projects.
Prepare drawings, figures, and layouts in AutoCAD under supervision.
Develop site maps, soil boring logs, and diagrams.
Draft soil profiles and geotechnical visualizations.
Prepare engineering drawings like retaining walls, slopes, foundations, drainage.
Draft engineering details and figures for reports and deliverables.
Support preparation of reports, drawings, and project documentation.
Perform other project-related tasks as assigned.
