Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an entry-level AutoCAD Operator to support geotechnical engineering projects under the guidance of senior staff. The role is office-based and focuses on creating engineering drawings, site maps, and technical figures with AutoCAD.

You will develop drafting skills over time, assist with project tasks as experience grows, and uphold a positive customer service attitude in line with ECS Core Values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in engineering or earth sciences.
• AutoCAD training or certification is preferred.
• Driver's license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Assist drafting and design support for geotechnical projects.
• Prepare drawings, figures, and layouts using AutoCAD under supervision.
• Develop site maps, soil boring logs, and diagrams.
• Draft soil profiles and geotechnical visualizations.
• Assist in preparing drawings for reports and deliverables.
• Support preparation of reports, drawings, and project documentation.
• Perform other project-related tasks as assigned.
