ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking an AutoCAD Operator to provide entry-level drafting and design support for geotechnical projects in an office setting. You will create engineering drawings, site maps, and technical figures using AutoCAD, building your drafting skills under the guidance of senior staff.

You will develop proficiency in AutoCAD, assist with various project tasks, and contribute to reports and documentation while maintaining ECS’s customer service standards.

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or GED; a BS in engineering, earth sciences, engineering technology or related field is preferred.
• Training, education, and/or certification in AutoCAD is preferred.
• Valid driver's license if driving for/on behalf of ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

The AutoCAD Operator performs entry-level drafting and design support tasks for geotechnical engineering projects under the direction of senior staff. This role is primarily office-based and involves preparing engineering drawings, site maps, and technical figures using AutoCAD software. The AutoCAD Operator develops technical drafting skills over time and may assist with additional project-related tasks as experience grows. The role maintains a positive customer service attitude and demonstrates an understanding of ECS Core Values.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 0 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Earth Sciences, Engineering Technology, or related field is preferred
• Training, education, and/or certification in AutoCad is preferred
  • If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Dependable, self-motivated, and responsible work ethic
• Basic computer proficiency
• Emerging or developing proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to interpret technical data with guidance
• Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation
