Job summary

Tetra Tech EC, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Geosynthetic Liner Technician to join our Geosynthetics team. You will work on landfill, mining, and industrial sites, installing HDPE liners and supporting field operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driving record, and OSHA 10 Hour Construction certification. Proficiency with MS Office is preferred and willingness to travel up to 7 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain a safe driving record (MVR check).
• OSHA 10 Hour Construction certification required.
• Preferred: landfill/refuse collection experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Familiar with liner installation techniques and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with direct reports, peers and clients.
• Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies for projects.
• Perform construction activities in a safe and proper manner.
• Maneuver, cut, and fuse HDPE liner.
• Work in trenched areas to connect and adjust liners at sites.
• Operate site vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized equipment and supplies.
• Complete project paperwork neatly and timely.
• Follow environmental and health & safety regulations.
• Follow internal procedures and industry standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain discipline knowledge.
• Work safely and report health/safety incidents.
