Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Land Surveying Intern to join the Survey Discipline in our Buffalo, NY office for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with Trimble, Total Station, GPS, and AutoCAD Civil3D to produce ALTA, Boundary, and Topographic surveys.

You will work with a team of professionals, supporting field and office tasks and learning through a robust internship program designed to build technical and networking skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, CADD, Engineering Technologies, or Civil Engineering.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office/field.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective discipline.
• Transform field data into Autodesk Civil 3D drawings.
• Produce ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, and As-Built surveys and subdivision plats.
• Support field crew as Instrument Man on survey projects.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, CADD, Engineering Technologies, or Civil Engineering
