Job summary

GDIT in Tampa, FL seeks a Software Developer to join a modernization team delivering geospatial solutions. You will enhance CAD and GIS datasets, publish data via web services, and build workflows using Python, ArcGIS and Arcade within the Esri stack.

The role requires on-site work at MacDill AFB with a Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility and 1+ years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree or GIS/CS certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of programming experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks and geoprocessing tools.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and GIS data design.

Responsibilities

• Support government customer on-site in Tampa, integrating into a Modernization Team.
• Modernize legacy CAD and GIS datasets and publish geospatial content via web services.
• Develop geospatial solutions using Python, Javascript and Arcade within Esri ArcGIS.
