Job summary
Invenergy is seeking a Geospatial Scientist to support thermal energy project development through geospatial analysis, site evaluation, routing, siting, and technical research. You will work with engineering, development, permitting, and project teams to identify opportunities, constraints, and risks while communicating findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
The ideal candidate has strong GIS skills, a curious mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- 4+ years of experience in geospatial analysis or related disciplines.
- Experience with ESRI GIS products (ArcGIS Pro/Online/Portal/ArcMap).
- Ability to perform spatial analyses and interpret geospatial data.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct geospatial analyses to support project development and siting.
- Collaborate with engineering, permitting, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
- Maintain geospatial data quality and governance standards.
- Prepare maps, technical memorandums, and presentations for stakeholders.
