Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Strategy & GIS Analyst to support growth through geospatial analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision making.

You will evaluate new and existing store opportunities by integrating demographic, competitive, and economic data using GIS, statistics, and automation tools. The role collaborates with the Market Planning team to influence real estate investments, portfolio optimization, and long-term market planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as GIS, Geography, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of data analysis experience with strong analytical and forecasting skills.
• Familiarity with GIS tools and geodatabase concepts.
• Advanced Python/SQL/R skills to automate tasks and build models.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate store performance and identify drivers of success or underperformance.
• Use GIS for geographic/demographic analysis of existing and potential locations.
• Develop automated data workflows in Python/SQL to streamline tasks.
• Create reports and presentations highlighting trends and actionable recommendations.
