Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager for our geospatial, solutions, and analytics team in our Fairfax, VA office. This hybrid role blends GIS work, project coordination, and client-facing support to deliver complex GIS projects for utility clients, with 2–3 days in the office and travel about 25% of the time.

The position requires a strong background in Esri technology, along with collaborative leadership and technical writing skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a geospatial or data science field or related area.
Minimum 5 years' experience with Esri technology (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, StoryMaps).
Proficiency with ETL tools (FME, Power Automate).
Familiarity with CMMS/EAM platforms and GIS integrations.
Strong technical writing ability and collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

Lead GIS technical activities across project teams, data development, mapping, analysis, and system integration for utility and public works clients.
Support day-to-day project execution, scheduling, and issue resolution; communicate progress to stakeholders.
Assist in business development and proposal writing; develop technical content for blogs, white papers, and presentations.
