Job summary

The Nuclear Company seeks a Geospatial Data Management Lead to build TNC's geospatial program from the ground up. You report to the Head of AI Products & NOS and collaborate across project development, environmental and licensing, NOS engineering, and the executive team.

You will own geospatial standards, govern data assets, design and run the enterprise geodatabase on ArcGIS platforms, manage data acquisition, and produce map products for regulatory submissions and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

7+ years GIS experience, including enterprise geodatabases for large projects.
ArcGIS Pro advanced, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise admin, ArcPy/Map SDK.
Geodesy knowledge: NAD83, NAVD88, State Plane, datum transformations.
Geodatabase design, topology, metadata (FGDC/ISO 19115).
Ability to publish publication-grade maps for regulatory and public meetings.

Responsibilities

Own geospatial standards and governance across projects.
Write and maintain Geospatial Data Management Plan and GIS Deliverables Specification.
Set geodetic standards, CRS, and metadata templates; enforce across projects.
Design and run enterprise geodatabase on ArcGIS Online/Enterprise; manage cloud infra.
Oversee data acquisition, QA, and dataset provisioning to consultants.
Produce maps for NRC submissions, board materials, and public meetings; build automation for NRC ADAMS uploads.
Coordinate survey, imagery, and geodetic basis; BIM-GIS integration.
Manage license, data classification, external release logging, DR procedures and program budget.
