Job summary

SubCom is seeking a Geospatial Systems Manager to lead GIS engineering and undersea cable planning initiatives. You will manage the private customer databases, support project planning, and mentor staff across multiple reports. Strong ARCGIS skills and DoD clearance are required.

The role involves interfacing with Ocean Operations, delivering customer presentations, and traveling up to 20% internationally to support customer requests.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and ESRI GIS skills.
• Experience with ArcGIS data management and training direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage the undersea database system.
• Maintain and utilize GIS to support project planning and development.
• Assist Ocean Operations with GIS solutions and implementation.
• Engineer cable systems and manage maintenance issues.
• Deliver frequent customer presentations.
