Qualifications

• Must be studying engineering, forestry, or related field.
• Must be willing to work outside in the field, in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
• Must be willing to travel during the internship as required.
• Ability to operate survey equipment and software with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Roads Condition Assessment Field team and transportation program.
• Provide support and learn field assessment planning with senior staff.
• Coordinate with client under supervision to validate schedules and plans for approval.
• Assist with data collection and processing for the Bureau of Land Management.
• Glean real-world data in the field with licensed engineers and condition assessment experts.
