Job summary

Quality Counts LLC is seeking a part-time Field Technician to support transportation projects across Oregon. This hands-on role involves moving between sites, installing and retrieving data collection equipment, and performing related field duties in Portland and surrounding areas.

The position requires outdoor work, reliability, and a flexible schedule. A dependable commute to Tigard, OR is essential, with opportunities for overtime during peak seasons and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Has relevant hands-on labor, field, construction or installation experience.
• Enjoys physical outdoor work and moving between sites.
• Able to commit to a variable part-time schedule (10–15 hrs/week in slow seasons; 30+ hrs during peak).
• Reliable commute to Tigard, OR.

Responsibilities

• Drive across Portland and nearby cities installing and retrieving traffic data collection equipment.
• Install video detection cameras and pneumatic road tubes.
• Work independently in the field following project instructions, safety procedures, and deadlines.
• Occasionally join teammates for traffic surveys and parking studies.
• Travel locally and, when opportunities arise, to projects in other parts of the country.
