Job summary

Greenlight Networks seeks a GIS & Compliance Specialist I to support the Fiber Design and Engineering Planning Services team. The role collaborates with Outside Plant Engineers, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators to prepare permits, splice packages, and construction drafts, while maintaining regulatory compliance and GIS records.

Responsibilities include creating maps, validating GIS data, and providing insights to support service delivery, outages, and network expansion.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in GIS, Geography, Drafting or related program is required.
• 2 years of equivalent work experience in Telecommunications, Fiber Optic Network Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and design splice packages using our fiber management system.
• Troubleshoot fiber and network availability to ensure accurate record keeping and support network planning.
