GeoAcuity LLC is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to support mission-critical Intelligence Community and DoD projects. You will design, analyze, and support geospatial data, systems, and workflows using GIS and Esri technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting and validating geospatial data, building geodatabases, performing spatial analysis, Python/SQL scripting, and creating maps and visualizations to aid decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, geospatial engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience using GIS technologies.
  • Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise, and Online).
  • Experience with spatial analysis, GIS workflows, and database development.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of Windows environments; strong analytical and communication skills.
  • US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

POSITION SUMMARY

GeoAcuity is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to support mission-critical Intelligence Community and Department of Defense projects by designing, analyzing, and supporting geospatial data, systems, and workflows. This role leverages GIS expertise and Esri technologies to deliver high-quality geospatial products, analysis, and user support in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect, analyze, validate, and manage geospatial data using GIS, remote sensing, and GPS tools
  • Design, build, maintain, and test geospatial databases and enterprise geodatabases
  • Perform spatial analysis and GIS processing using ArcGIS and related Esri products
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts using Python and SQL
  • Produce maps, web maps, and visualizations to support analysis and decision making

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, geospatial engineering, computer science, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 2+ years of professional experience using GIS technologies
  • Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise, and Online)
  • Experience with spatial analysis, GIS workflows, and database development
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of Windows environments; strong analytical and communication skills
  • US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in technical support or customer-facing GIS roles
  • Experience with data conversion or migration
  • Knowledge of Linux and UNIX environments
  • Familiarity with web mapping and remote sensing tools
