Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks an SME- Data Scientist to support a Federal Government client. Fort Gordon, GA based role with TS/SCI eligibility and CI Poly potential. Responsibilities include applying geospatial data science techniques and deploying models to deliver insights for DoD/IC missions.

Strong background in NLP, deep learning, and SQL-based analysis, plus proficiency in Python or R, is required. Opportunity for career growth and security-cleared work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mastery of geographic and geospatial principles, tools, and analytics.
• Experience with data-science techniques including logistic regression, NLP, deep learning, and neural networks.
• Proficiency in tabular analysis using SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia).
• Familiarity with agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Experience with IT/metrics platforms such as Splunk or Elastic.

Responsibilities

• Apply geospatial data science techniques to support federal programs.
• Develop and deploy models using Python, R, and SQL to derive insights.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver new capabilities.
• Prepare reports and briefings translating complex analyses for stakeholders.
