Job summary
Vantor Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Data Scientist to fuse multiple data sources and perform geo-temporal pattern-of-life analyses for customer requirements. You will collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and subject matter experts to advance analytics across internal and external data sources.
The role emphasizes on-site work in Springfield, VA, with opportunities to influence mission-critical analytics and develop scalable workflows using Spark, PySpark, and Jupyter Notebooks.
Qualifications
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.
- At least 10 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist or similar.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of technical data types and data protocols (telemetry, cellular, wifi, ethernet).
- Experience performing data analysis for partners to scale analytics.
- Must be able to work on-site in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities
- Scale analytics for pattern-of-life development.
- Enable ingest and spatial processing of internal and external data sources.
- Develop spatial analytics within our big data science environment for correlations across data types.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to refine code and develop new analytics.
- Create automation workflows to support CPAAC customers and partners.
