GRVTY is seeking a Geospatial Data Manager - Data Scientist in Camp Lejeune, NC to develop and operationalize advanced analytic solutions. You will design Python-based pipelines, integrate data from web APIs and repositories, and build dashboards to improve rigor and reproducibility in high-consequence environments.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, TS/SCI clearance with CI poly access, and strong skills in Python, SQL, and geospatial tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly; 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior-level proficiency in Python with mission-ready solution design.
• Experience querying and integrating web APIs via Python to retrieve and operationalize data.
• Experience developing interactive visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
• Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
• Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
• Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation and operate independently at a senior level.

Position Title

Geospatial Data Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a Geospatial Data Manager - Data Scientist to develop and operationalize advanced analytic solutions that directly enhance intelligence production and mission effectiveness. In this role, you will design and deploy Python-based solutions and analytic pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including web APIs and enterprise repositories. You will create solutions, interactive dashboards, and analytic interfaces that improve analytic rigor, transparency, and reproducibility. Your work will modernize legacy workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability in high-consequence environments.

What Impact You'll Have

We are looking for a Geospatial Data Manager - Data Scientist,with experience processing and analyzing large datasets, who will use their technical knowledge, experience, and customer-centric focus to create and deliver world-class analytic processes, scripting solutions, and data modeling content. This is a mission-driven opportunity to support the DoD and Intelligence Community. The Data Scientist will coordinate with our clients to understand questions and issues involving the clients datasets, then determine the best method and approach to create data-driven solutions within program guidelines. This position will be relied upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and be expected to lead/assist in the development of automated processes, architect data science solutions, automated workflows, conduct analysis, use available tools to analyze data, remain adaptable to mission requirements, and identify patterns to help solve some of the complex problems that face the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a CI Poly. 10+ years of relevant experience. (A combination of years of experience & professional certifications/trainings/degree can be used in lieu of the years of experience requirement)
• Senior-level proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in designing mission ready solutions.
• Experience querying and integrating web APIs through Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
• Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
• Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
• Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
• Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation related to software systems and automated workflows.
• Ability to operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight.
• Familiarity with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures.
• Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories.

Pay Range & Benefits
