Job summary
Saalex Corporation in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst I to support geospatial and technical analysis tied to finance operations.
The role focuses on maps, grid data, latitude/longitude coordinates, and basic scripting to streamline data processing. Onsite work with potential travel to remote locations.
Associates degree or technical training plus six years of related experience preferred; interim secret clearance required to start.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mathematics and interpreting charts/tables/numerical data.
- Ability to read grid charts/maps/coordinate systems.
- Working knowledge of latitude and longitude coordinates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with structured data and produce accurate results.
Responsibilities
- Analyze grid charts, maps, and coordinate-based data sets.
- Work with latitude/longitude and coordinate reference systems to support analyses.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and data validation.
- Develop or maintain simple script files for data processing or automation tasks.
- Gather and analyze structured data for reports and technical documentation.
- Support data analysis and scripting tasks for senior analysts and engineers.
- Interface with engineers and end users to clarify data requirements.
