Blackwood Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to support material inventory layout and site build planning through AutoCAD-based mapping.

You will travel to new build and operation sites to gather measurements and translate data into scalable site maps using AutoCAD Maps 3D or Civil 3D. The role requires collaboration with Sales Engineers and Engineering, staying current with mapping technologies, and delivering accurate site plans that meet engineering standards while supporting

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with scale and spatial layout expertise.
• Drone pilot license or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to use AI tools to improve task efficiency and reduce rework.
• Willingness to travel frequently to site locations.

Responsabilités

• Travel to active and proposed sites to gather landscape data and measurements.
• Create and maintain to-scale site maps using AutoCAD software.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineer to understand customer requirements and provide feedback on feasibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering to align site designs with product standards and material capabilities.
• Stay current with industry technologies to enhance map-building efficiency and accuracy.
• Understand and incorporate driver logistics and material flow into site layouts.
• Interpret and apply technical data, standards related to Blackwood products and site builds.
• Engage regularly with the sales engineer to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain accuracy in all technical and sales documentation.
