Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation seeks a Mid-Level GIS Analyst to support USSTRATCOM J2 operations at Offutt AFB. You will perform spatial analysis with ArcGIS Pro, build web maps and dashboards, and help administer ArcGIS Enterprise components.

You will automate geospatial tasks with ArcPy, manage GIS data, and integrate real-time feeds while complying with DISA STIGs and FedRAMP. TS clearance and DoD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS or 8 years of military GIS experience.
• 3+ years of GIS experience in spatial analysis and GIS systems.
• 3+ years with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.
• Python scripting with ArcPy.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server.
• Experience with REST/JSON/GeoJSON/XML/CSV data.
• Knowledge of OGC standards and ArcGIS Enterprise components.
• Familiarity with DoD IT security standards and travel.

Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level GIS Analyst to support the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) J2 Intelligence Directorate. This role supports mission-essential geospatial intelligence operations focused on analyzing and visualizing potential adversaries’ strategic weapons capabilities. The selected candidate will leverage ArcGIS Enterprise technologies to perform spatial analysis, manage geospatial data, and develop web-based GIS applications that support operational planning and intelligence decision-making across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).

This position is onsite at Offutt AFB.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise to support intelligence and operational planning.
• Develop web maps, web applications, and analytic dashboards using ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.
• Support installation, configuration, and administration of ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal, Operations Dashboard, and GeoEvent Server.
• Develop custom cartographic products, maps, charts, and visualizations supporting intelligence analysis.
• Create Python and ArcPy scripts to automate geospatial data processing and analysis.
• Manage and maintain GIS databases and spatial data environments.
• Integrate dynamic streaming data sources using REST APIs and formats such as JSON, GeoJSON, XML, and CSV.
• Process geospatial feeds using ArcGIS GeoEvent adapters for incorporation into analytic dashboards.
• Support integration with DoD visualization platforms and intelligence workflows.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards including DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, and ATO processes.
• Collaborate with analysts, technical teams, and leadership to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Intelligence, or related GIS-focused field OR 8 years of military experience in GIS, geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, or geographic information science.
• Minimum 3 years of GIS experience performing spatial analysis and supporting GIS systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience with Python scripting and ArcPy.
• Experience with relational and spatial databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server.
• Experience working with dynamic data connections and APIs (REST, JSON, GeoJSON, XML, CSV).
• Knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal and GeoEvent Server.
• Familiarity with DoD IT security standards (DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, ATO).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DIA/DOD privileged user account.
• Ability to travel within CONUS approximately four times per year.

Preferred

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise GIS systems in a government or defense environment.
• Experience working with real-time geospatial data feeds.
