Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, geoscience, engineering, data science, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant geoscience technical support, subsurface data management, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of subsurface datasets and petroleum software such as GeoGraphix, Petra, Petrel, Kingdom, StarSteer or Techlog.
• Experience applying AI/ML, automation, and Python/SQL to data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality subsurface datasets, project databases, and technical workflows.
• Load, validate, organize, and quality-control subsurface data and workflows.
• Improve data integrity and workflow efficiency across toolsets like GeoGraphix, StarSteer, and QGIS.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and analytics to integrate diverse datasets into actionable analyses.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to improve workflows, detect subsurface trends, and support decisions.
• Develop data products, dashboards, and AI-enabled knowledge workflows for asset teams.
• Document standards and best practices to support scalable geoscience operations.
• Prepare technical data and visuals for internal reviews, partner meetings, and transaction support.
• Embed with geoscience execution while coordinating with land, business development, and management.
