Job summary

Learning Grove Academy in Georgia seeks a GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support a state-funded program for preschoolers. A portable documentation package is required at hire, with a shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates include CDA, Paraprofessional Certificate, ECE certificates, Montessori, Georgia Certified Teacher, or an associate degree or higher. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with a thorough onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following credentials: CDA, Paraprofessional Certificate, ECE Technical Certificate (TCC), Technical College Diploma (TCD) in ECE, Montessori Credential, Georgia Certified Teacher, or an associate degree or higher.
• Documentation required at hire per Georgia licensing.
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.
• Compensation: $16.50 per hour based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, supervising, and implementation of the program for the class in accordance with program policies.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom environment and providing appropriate supervision.
• Assist with the creation of an appropriate classroom learning environment and appropriate classroom schedule.
• Assist with planning and implementation of weekly lesson plans based on GELDS, WSO assessment data and Georgia Pre-K approved Curriculum.

We are seeking aGA Pre-K AssistantTeacher to support our GA Pre-K program! This state funded program supports preschool age children.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require Child Development Associate (CDA) OR Paraprofessional Certificate OR Technical Certificate (TCC) in ECE OR Technical College Diploma (TCD) in ECE OR Montessori Credential OR Georgia Certified Teacher OR associate degree or higher.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30 pm

Compensation: $16.50 an hour based on education and experience
