Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking an aspiring Mechanical Engineer to join the team at our Green Bay paper mill operations as an Engineering Co-op. The ideal candidate will be seeking to join for 2 Co-op periods (Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2027).

What You Will Do

Engineering Co-Ops are likely in a manufacturing facility, to help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with a large overarching focus on compliance, safety and health. At Koch, interns/co-ops gain real-world, hands-on experience in the industry field, with the opportunity to tackle significant projects, problem-solve, and take ownership of their work. Alongside your day-to-day role, the program offers an opportunity to learn more about Koch, our people, Principle Based Management, and all while growing your network. This program will allow you to experience Life at Koch, as you start your career and go anywhere within our network of companies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree program.


• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.


• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.


• Experience utilizing data to solve problems.


• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.

• Previous work or internship related experience.
