Job summary

Curaenvironmentalsolutions is seeking an Onsite Service Technician to manage waste streams, segregate materials, and coordinate reuse/recycle outlets at customer sites. The role covers the southeastern region, with a focus on the Atlanta area, and may involve travel to multiple locations.

You should have a High School Diploma, 2–3 years in waste management or recycling, and relevant training (DOT, OSHA Hazwoper). A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–3 years of experience in waste management or recycling.
• DOT, OSHA and Hazwoper training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate associated equipment.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, background and DMV checks required.

Responsibilities

• Daily/weekly segregation of waste and reuse materials; record keeping and labeling.
• Understand proper product consolidation and waste disposal options.
• Possess ability to cross-train at multiple customer locations in different regions.
• Complete special assignments or tasks as requested by management.
• Report daily job metrics back to management.
• Arrive at accounts at scheduled times.

Job description

As an Onsite Service Technician- you will be responsible for understanding the waste streams generated onsite, the segregation of “good” vs “bad” product, the waste outlets, and
reuse/recycle outlets. You will be working in the southeastern Region (FL, GA, AL, TN). An ideal candidate would be in the
Atlanta area, but we are open to other cities as well.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily/weekly segregation of waste and reuse materials, record keeping, and labeling.
• Understand the importance of proper product consolidation and waste disposal options.
• Capable to cross train at multiple customer locations, in various regions
• Special assignments or tasks completed per request
• Report daily job metrics back to management
• Arrive to accounts at scheduled time
• High School Diploma
• 2-3 year experience in waste management and/or recycling
• DOT, OHSA and Hazwoper training plus
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Agree to travel when necessary
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Operate all available equipment (forklift, drum dolly, etc.)
• Must thrive in a team-based organization , while exhibiting proficient communication skills through various outlets
• Must be able to read and follow written work instructions
