Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. has a great client seeking a Waste Technician at a landfill in Decatur, IL. This onsite, 6-month contract to hire opportunity starts at $20.00 per hour and includes a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. You will move various waste streams, operate forklifts, and maintain logs while following safety protocols. The role requires ability to lift up to 30 lbs, independent work, and strong communication, with

Qualifications

• Move waste streams including non-hazardous and limited quantities of hazardous waste.
• Maintain logs for all waste and recyclable materials.
• Operate forklifts and other trade tools.
• Work in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements.
• Safety training provided prior to field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

This opportunity is contract to hire and will convert after the initial contract period! This position requires a background check and drug screen prior to starting. • Ensure compliance with protocols and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with team members and CAT employees, taking direction from the immediate supervisor.
