Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for assignments in Covington, GA. The role involves a Monday–Friday schedule with night call rotation and 24-hour weekend coverage, performing 15–20 light IR procedures daily on average in a hospital setting.

Hospital privileges are required. Procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US guided biopsies, lumbar punctures, nephrostomy, embolization, drain insertion, chest tubes and fluoroscopy, with paid malpractice and pre-paid

Responsibilities

• Perform 15-20 light IR procedures daily on average.
• Provide locum tenens coverage in line with facility needs.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultant for assignment details and time entry.
